Looking for a unique rental to stay in Central Portugal?
Located 5 kilometres from the market town of Pedrogao Grande. A wonderful quirky complex of three converted boats beside the village of Derreada Fundeira. They are ideally situated for exploring the local country side and lake Cabril. The largest of the three boats is a kitchen/diner complete with everything needed for a family of four. The other two are bedrooms. One suitable for an adult couple, and the third for two younger children. There is a fully functional shower room and toilet. There is plenty of space to relax in after touring the surrounding area with an enclosed area which is a real sun trap, (canopy available for really hot days), a built in BBQ, table, chairs and sun loungers. If larger family groups book in advance a 4.5 meter tepee can be provided with sleeping facilities, ( 4 or so). Ideally suited for teenage people!

Within a kilometre of the boatyard is Derreada Cimeira where there is a local café (Café Micas) with an attached shop
Two Kilometres towards Pedrogao Grande there is the Carrossel bar, which serves not only liquid refreshment but very good bar snacks. Plus just a few hundred meters further on, a Euro Shop, selling light foods, various drinks, a small range of household goods and a curious collection of other items.
The closest restaurant is only a kilometre away on the N2 is 'Picha Restaurant' right opposite the Repsol garage, and just a few kilometres further North 'The Alto Restaurant'.
